'Modigliani' chess pieces by Nigri Scacchi
These are not just superb chess pieces to play with but also a work of art. The pieces are largely made of marble resin (marble poweder in resin); the marble comesfrom the world famous Carrara mines . Each piece is hand finished, and then aged and expertly painted by master craftsmen. All work is entirely done in the Italian province of Lucca. A classic example of Italian design and manufacturing.
