In 1921, the long-reigning champion Dr. Emanuel Lasker finally accepted the conditions to play a match for the World Chess Championship against the young, Cuban Phenom José Raúl Capablanca.
The match took place in Havana and became a rather one-sided affair, with Capablanca with four games before Lasker forfeited the match after just 14 games.
