Doug Eckert is a two-time U.S. Junior Open Champion. He has attained USCF and FIDE ratings of 2300. For his first book he has chosen to write on a favorite opening of his, the Keres Attack in the Sicilian Scheveningen. Although there have been other books on the variation, Eckert reveals significant new developments in the line and provides a comprehensive summary of the existing theory.
